ALUMINUM METAL FRAME GLASS DOORS FOR CABINETS
GLASS IS NOT INCLUDED.

This is how your door will look after you assembly it.

As shown below these aluminum metal frame glass cabinet doors come in kit form. No GLASS supplied. We are doing this for these reasons.

  1. No glass breakage.
  2. Low shipping and insurance charges.
  3. You get to choose the exact glass you want. No guessing how smoked that smoke glass is or how defused the frosted glass is, etc..
  4. Glass needs to be 2 5/8"less then the outside measurements of the frame. Thickness up to 3/16".
These are the parts for one complete aluminum metal frame glass cabinet door.
The pieces are precut for you. If you buy the full "kit" you will receive the 4 pieces to make the frame, the corner brackets that fit inside the frame to hold them together, and full overlay (9/16") European hinges that can be used on frame or frameless cabinets. The material is 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick.

We can drill for European Hinges and supply them for you. These are NOT the normal 35mm cup hinge. They are special hinges for these metal frames. If you purchase these hinges we will drill for you at no charge. They will be drilled 3" on center from top/bottom.
To assemble the metal frame for your glass cabinet doors, do as shown in the image on the left. Do the same for 3 sides before inserting the glass into the metal frame.
Once you have purchased your glass (we do not sell glass) fasten the last side. Glass needs to be 2 5/8"less then the outside measurements of the frame.

Four corner brackets are used for each corner. A little glue, not included, needs to be used in each corner. There is wood inside the metal frame so a good bond is possible. A couple of bar/pipe clamps will make the assembly easier.
Once you push 4 of the corner brackets in the slots of one side, line up another piece, glue and press/clamp them together. Be sure to only do this with 3 pieces before inserting the glass.
Once you have your decorative glass installed in the metal frame, fasten the last side as shown above.

These are NOT cheap imports you can see elsewhere. There are usually 2 - 4 of these used in a kitchen for accent. There are many choices of decorative glass on the market. We allow you to be the judge of what glass you want for your project. A metal frame kit, 14" X 16" no glass will run approximately $58.00 US.

For an estimate on your sizes, add them to your quote. Also let us know if you need hinges/boring. (explained above)
